Ruud wants to store the Bikkel boat at his house, but the neighbor (and the municipality of Zwolle) does not allow this.

In 2013, Ruud van der Burg bought a centuries-old lock keeper’s house on the Nieuwe Vecht in Zwolle. A characteristic house in a characteristic location. He enjoys the place, the water and the soil. That changes when new neighbors arrive. Van der Burg ends up in a legal battle over gravel tiles, fruit trees, a beech hedge and his boat Bikkel.
