Doherty has announced a new solo LP for May 16th. He also goes on tour and shares a foretaste.
There will be eleven new songs from Peter Doherty. His next solo album FELT BETTER ALIVE will be released on May 16th. The Brit is already releasing the single of the same name, as well as the information: From May onwards he will also be going on tour in Germany.
What FELT BETTER ALIVE has to offer
The Libertines member had this to say about the new LP and its title via press release: “I wanted to call the album ‘If You Can’t Fight, Wear A Big Hat’. But my manager talked me out of it. Maybe it has something to do with me not being in an opium-fueled state? It took me so long to quit drugs because it took me a long time to feel good without them. It’s a strange expression, ‘Felt Better Alive’, because how does it feel to be dead? But in a strange way, I think I know what it feels like to be dead.”
