When Martina Aitolehti told her then-partner Esko Eerikäinen about her career dreams, the man did not say his true thoughts out loud. The ex-couple talks about their careers Martina & Esko in his podcast.
Aitolehti says that it was already clear to him at a young age that he wanted to work in the field of sports. However, twenty-something Aitolehti, who was working at the gym, wanted something else.
– I thought that this is really unsexy to be here in the gym and train people. He clearly wanted something more, bigger, grander and to challenge himself more, says Aitolehti and says that he has now returned to the starting point, as it were.
Nowadays, Aitolehti works as a wellness coach.
When Aitolehti and Eerikäinen met, Aitolehti was a barber-hairdresser.
Aitolehti and Eerikäinen founded a program office together. Aitolehti wanted to create a dance school around the program office. The couple visited different facilities.
– I remember when I thought, “No hell, I don’t want any dance school”. I wanted to avoid all arguments, and I didn’t want to say it out loud, says Eerikäinen.
– In the evenings, I always prayed that “I hope we don’t get that place”, Eerikäinen demonstrates.
Prayers were answered, says Aitolehti.

The ex-couple started their joint podcast in December. Aitolehti and Esko Eerikäinen divorced 13 years ago.
Their joint Victoria-daughter was born in 2009. Aitolehdi also had a daughter in 2012 Isabella-daughter.
