A van with a trailer crashed into the guardrail on the A28 near De Punt this morning. The trailer overturned and came to rest across the road.
According to a bystander, the van skidded due to the slippery conditions. The driver therefore lost control.
The northbound lane was closed due to the accident. A recovery company recovered the van and trailer. The road was reopened around 11 a.m.
