Toni Servillo, Ficarra and Picone in the latest film by the Palermo director Roberto Andò, The blunderin theaters from 16 January with 01, which tells the story of the exploit of the Thousand in 1860 with Garibaldi (Tommaso Ragno), the Palermo colonel, Hamlet and philosopher, Vincenzo Giordano Orsini (Toni Servillo) and two Sicilians like many others, Domenico Tricò (Salvatore Ficarra), a farmer who emigrated to the North, and Rosario Spitale, an illusionist and cheat (Valentino Picone).
In this film, which cost a good 18 million euros and is often acted in strict dialect (there are subtitles), Garibaldi’s exploit, complete with landing and great blockbuster battles and the story of the latter two who initially desert and then, only at the end do they find some of that dignity that they will be ready to lose years later. In the cast of The blunder also Pascal Greggory in the role of Jean-Luc Von Mechel, Swiss commander of the Bourbon army, Giulia Andò, Leonardo Maltese, Vincenzo Pirrotta and Andrea Gherpelli.
