Presenter-model living in Los Angeles Anne Kukkohovi54, was forced to flee his downtown Los Angeles home from the wildfires in California.

He tells on Instagram now about the development of the situation and the mild phenomenon he noticed.

– I never thought I would experience something like this. Tuesday evening it started to get windy, even downtown, where the skyscrapers block the worst winds, he says in his update.

– On Wednesday morning, I woke up with puffy lungs (from smoke) and the next night I moved to Santa Monica, an area where there is no immediate danger. I left at dawn, avoiding the evacuation routes.

Anne Kukkohovi told Iltalehti that she went to sleep at night because it was easier to move around then. Roads have been blocked due to the chaos. He told Iltalehte that he is now staying outside the evacuation zone and that he is prepared to drive even further south in the direction of San Diego if the situation worsens.

– No one complains, everyone helps each other. A friend who lost everything comes to mind. A few weeks ago, I lived in Altadena, which is now completely level with the ground, Anne Kukkohovi describes in a recent update.

– The atmosphere is truly apocalyptic, but I love how people consider others, help is available everywhere.

He says he has noticed even mild symptoms.

– The reason for this is that the rescue personnel are hard pressed due to budget cuts. Plus does the insurance cover these massive damages?

– I also learned a new word; loot/looting. It means that some people take advantage of other people’s distress, that is, they steal whatever they can.

Kukkohovi says that he is quietly waiting to see how the situation with the wildfires in Los Angeles progresses.
