The suspect of a stabbing in Tynaarlo will remain in custody longer. The 53-year-old man from Oude Pekela was arrested after an incident at a holiday park on January 2.
The Public Prosecution Service has announced that the man will remain in pre-trial detention for another fourteen days. A 43-year-old man from Vries was slightly injured in the incident.
After the stabbing on Zuidlaarderweg, the police started an investigation on the spot. This included searching for clues in an adjacent pond.
