Dirks has been playing for Telstar since last summer and played in eighteen matches for the North Hollanders. In Spain he will play at the fourth level and must help the club to promotion. Three Dutch players still play at Terrassa; Tom Boere, Gylermo Siereveld and Quinten van den Heerik.
Dirks started playing football at DEM in Beverwijk. He then played for years in the AZ youth team. He made his debut in professional football at Jong AZ in 2020 before leaving for VVV-Venlo.
