The explosion at the house in Hoorn took place around 2.30 am on the Groene Steen. The windows of the house and adjacent house were blown out by the impact of the explosive. Several cars parked in front of the door were also damaged.
Not long after, another explosion occurred at a home. That happened around 2.50 am at De Zweide in Zwaagdijk-Oost. It is not yet clear what caused the explosion. The house has damage to the windows and facade. Two vehicles were also damaged. The windows on the ground floor of the house were shattered. No one was injured in either incident.
The police are investigating whether there is a connection between the two explosions. People who saw anything at the time of the explosions are urged to contact the police.
