Great debut also for Matteo Arnaldi, who in one hour and 9 minutes gets rid of a very insidious obstacle (at least on paper), like the Australian Popyrin. The blue prevailed with a very clear 6-3 6-2, despite a very low percentage of first serves (44%). Arnaldi makes very few mistakes, places seven aces and takes advantage of Popyrin’s lackluster day, who is never in the match. In the round of 16 Matteo will challenge the American Opelka, who won over the Argentine Gomez.
