The Magnificent SevenVasco Rossi «the voice of the voiceless»

Regarding the success that has characterized his conquest of the musical firmament, Vasco Rossi will reveal to Claudio Amendola: «I like to think I am the voice of the voiceless. I am the voice of humble, normal people who have 60,000 problems and anxieties. I am their voice and in the end we all feel a little better.”

A realistic photograph of Vasco’s effect on people. One of his merits is precisely that of reaching those who listen to him by bringing himself and then creating an unparalleled sense of belonging. «In my songs I am honest and sincere», he will always confess to Amendola.

«I tell what comes from inside me. I’ve made mistakes in life and telling them has freed me. By telling my weaknesses I thought I was venting myself but instead (…) when I tell them, those who have them inside themselves feel represented and feel lighter by sharing.”
