“Looks like I’ll be back in the booth after all!” says 50 Cent about the plans.

On December 13th, Snoop Dog released his new album MISSIONARY. Among other things are Eminem and 50 Cent can be heard together on the track “Gunz N Smoke”. Eminem obviously seems excited about working with 50 Cent. As he has now announced in a conversation, he would like to do a larger project with the 49-year-old.

“That would be great”

“That would be great,” Eminem told Shade45 on December 24th. “We just have to stop talking nonsense and do it. I would never say it’s not possible, so what?” The rapper met with Paul Rosenberg and DJ Whoo Kidd on Christmas Eve for a 30-minute interview and, among other things, talked about his 2004 record ENCORE.

“Just have to do this residency in Vegas.”

Following this, 50 Cent posted some screenshots of media reports about Eminem’s statement in the “Shade45” conversation on his Instagram channel on Friday (December 27th). “Looks like I’ll be back in the dressing room after all!” wrote the “Candy Shop” interpreter underneath.

However, the musician already made one thing clear: “I just have to do this residency in Vegas.” 50 Cent was referring to his Las Vegas show “50 Cent In Da Club”. Starting December 27th, the artist plans to perform his music on six evenings at PH Live at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. What 50 Cent also gives hope for: After the residency, i.e. from January 5, 2025, he could probably have time again for a new musical project.

How serious the two musicians really mean their statements remains to be seen. The idea for cooperation is already several years old. As early as spring 2009, “Universal Musi” reported on alleged plans for a joint album between the two. Back then, it was DJ Whoo Kid who broke this alleged news in an interview with MTV.

Eminem gave 50 Cent’s career a boost

Eminem and 50 Cent have known each other for many years and seem to be good friends. In 2002, the “Without Me” artist signed him to his label “Shady Records”. The two rappers also planned to produce a series adaptation of the film “8 Mile” in 2023.
