In the traditional way of the Swedish public broadcasting company SVT The year 2024 of the Swedish royal family – program, as the name suggests, follows the past year of the royal family.

The most touching moment of this year’s program is when the princess Madeleine visits the Astrid Lindgren Children’s Hospital. The visit is part of Madeleine’s charity work in the Min stora dag – (my big day) organization.

At the hospital, Madeleine is shown a video about the organization’s work. The organization strives to fulfill the wishes of sick children.

Listening to the children’s wishes, Madeleine’s eyes water and she looks moved.

– It’s so nice when I can help in this way. This gives me so much, Madeleine says in the program.
