Galatasaray Women’s Basketball and Women’s Volleyball Team jersey back sponsorship signing ceremony was held at Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex Rams Park. Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek, sponsor company chairman Sami Konukoğlu and board member Gökhan Bayramoğlu and athletes from the women’s basketball and volleyball teams attended the ceremony.
Stating that they are doing well in amateur branches this year, especially in basketball and volleyball, President Dursun Özbek said, “My board friends and I are working very hard to achieve our goal. Stating that they are working on the establishment of Galatasaray, Özbek continued his words as follows:
“Galatasaray has made the move to establish facilities for a while since the day it was founded. We still have some deficiencies, especially in the last 50 years. The facilities built in the past were the leading facilities of our country as of that day. Now they need to be gathered in a certain center. We moved our football camp facility and academy in Florya to Kemerburgaz.” We are moving the facility for our football team. We will move it there very soon. We will lay the foundation for the Academy building, Galatasaray is an Olympic sports club. It is a club that also serves in other branches. We have a huge lack of facilities there. Stating that they are continuing the projects to save Galatasaray from its debt burden, Dursun Özbek said, “Our goal is to save Galatasaray, especially from its debt burden. We have previously announced our projects. We have come to the end of these projects. We especially want to terminate the restructuring agreement made with the consortium of the Banks Association. We are the only ones who do not want the restructuring.” That is the aim of all the clubs that do this. Clubs are suffering greatly due to the high interest rates.
