It won’t surprise anyone that we won’t have a white Christmas this year. According to Donny de Koning from Weerplaza, it will remain gray for a while. The skates can also remain in the cupboard: the temperature will not change much.
“During Christmas it stays around 10 or 11 degrees,” says the weatherman. “That is a lot warmer than usual, normally it is only 6 degrees at this time of year.” It also remains gray. “There may be mist or fog and occasional drizzle.”
Watery sunshine
In the run-up to the weekend it will remain quiet for a while. “We see largely the same expectations for Friday and Saturday, with a chance of some watery sunshine at the end of Friday.”
The peace seems to come to an end after that. “During the weekend the wind will turn to the west and we will get more sun,” says the weatherman. “After the weekend it will become restless and there is a chance that it will be a windy New Year.”
