Two Americans acquitted after 17 years of innocent imprisonment for murder: “They didn’t want to believe the truth”

After 17 years of unjust imprisonment, the Americans, Charlotte Pleytez (37) and Lombardo Palacios (32), have been acquitted. In 2009, they were sentenced to 50 years in prison for a murder they did not commit. Last week, a Los Angeles court overturned the verdict thanks to new evidence.
