Iltalehti has reported during the last week that the families of English musician Ozzy Osbourne and soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo are spending a vacation in Lapland.

Both Osbourne’s and Ronaldo’s family have published material from their vacation in Finland on social media. The videos show that the children are wearing caps and dresses from the Finnish children’s clothing brand Metsola.

Marketing manager of the Metsola brand Yasmin Kallava commented on the situation to Iltalehti. He says that Metsola’s Instagram account is filled with followers’ comments, in which they are happy about the visibility of the Finnish brand among the children of super celebrities.

The children of the Osbourne family were dressed in Metsola’s Mouse-style dress and Cutie beanies. The children of Ronaldo’s family, on the other hand, wore Metsola’s Mini Crystal beanies.

Kallava says that they have not sent clothes to celebrities, but the situation came as a complete surprise to them as well.

– We have retailers from as far away as Rovaniemi, so it could be that they bought the clothes there, Kallava reflects.

According to Kallava, Metsola brand accessories are made of merino wool.

Kallavan says that the goal of the Metsola brand is the international market. The visibility gained through foreign stars has brought a smile to my face.

– This made me feel really good. Our aim is to become international, so this is a wonderful thing, Kallava enthuses.

According to Kallava, the children of Finnish celebrities have previously worn Metsola brand clothes. However, during the last two years, Kallava has not been informed that the children of foreign stars have worn the brand’s clothes.
