The trial against rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs doesn’t begin for another five months. But there has been a tough fight behind the scenes for some time now. The means: Pierced information, rumors and slander; to put the other side in the worst possible light.

Now star Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee, who has filed dozens of lawsuits against Combs and one against Jay-Z in the complex abuse case, is finding himself in the twilight.

New York tabloid media report on the allegations of a woman who is anonymously called “Jane Doe” (roughly “Martina Mustermann”). Buzbee infected her with a sexually transmitted disease.

This matter, which has been simmering since 2018, has now led to a new lawsuit at the New York Supreme Court. The plaintiff states that she met Buzbee in an “online conversation” at the time. The charming lawyer persuaded her to go on a date with dinner and a show in his hometown of Houston.

STD

After the performance, Buzbee is said to have booked a room in a 5-star hotel where he seduced her. The two allegedly had sex without Buzbee disclosing that he had a sexually transmitted disease, which again is not specifically specified in the lawsuit.

After a doctor diagnosed her, the woman contacted Buzbee. He apologized to her but didn’t seem surprised by the incident. But Buzbee requested silence and offered financial help. This involvement would then have turned into a kind of dependency relationship. According to the woman, Buzbee invited her on trips to Panama and to his New York home.

Meanwhile, the gossip portal “TMZ” had found out about the matter and also described lawyer Buzbee’s tantrum in a New York bar, where he is said to have thrown a champagne glass in the woman’s face. Medical notes about an injured mouth and a damaged tooth should prove this.

Credibility of Buzbee’s law firm

In his public rebuttal, Buzbee speaks of a “criminal conspiracy” with the aim of discrediting him (without, of course, mentioning the Combs or Jay Z camp). He calls the lawsuit “false, frivolous and far-fetched.” In return, he reported the lawyer who filed this case to the relevant judicial authorities. He will take legal action against him and his client.

People magazine, in turn, documents a letter that Jay-Z’s lawyer Alex Spiro sent to the judges on December 10th. The credibility of Buzbee’s law firm is questioned. Buzbee and his employees had previously pressured a client to include Jay-Z in the Combs allegations.

At the time, Buzbee called the claim “patently ridiculous,” adding, “We don’t need to ‘pressure’ anyone to inflame the issue.” We already have more cases than we can possibly handle.”
