For the nationwide cinema release of “Queer” on January 2nd, 2025, ROLLING STONE is giving away a fan package consisting of two free cinema tickets and an exclusive film poster signed by Daniel Craig, Luca Guadagnino and Justin Kuritzkes.

“Raw and revealing”

“Queer” is the new drama film from “Call Me By Your Name” director Luca Guadagnino, based on the semi-autobiographical 1985 novel by William S. Burroughs. Daniel Craig plays the American emigrant William Lee, who falls in love with the young Eugene (Drew Starkey). The two begin an affair, but Eugene is less emotionally involved. Together they go on a trip to South America to search for a psychedelic drug.

The drama moves in an area of tension between love, loss and longing. For Craig, who describes the film as “raw and revealing,” the role reflects all the facets that challenge him as an actor. Director Guadagnino, who first read the book at the age of 17, said it deeply touched him at the time. This ultimately led him to make a film of the work.
