Explosives went off at homes in several places in Hilversum last night. The buildings were slightly damaged by the explosions, but no one was injured.
An explosive device went off at a porch on Cor Steijnstraat in Hilversum last night around 10:30 p.m., damaging a window in a door.
The police cordoned off the immediate area with tape for further investigation, and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) was also present.
Around 11:25 p.m., reports were received by the emergency services about an explosion on Lieven de Keylaan. The facade of an apartment complex was slightly damaged.
According to a police spokesperson, an investigation into what exactly happened is underway. These are probably fireworks bombs.
