The collection days for residual and GFT+E waste may change during public holidays. Christmas is on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December and municipal employees have time off. That is why they do not collect your residual and organic waste on those days.

Collect residual waste around Christmas
Residents who normally put out the gray container for residual waste on Wednesdays must now do so later, on Saturday, December 28. According to the municipality, residual waste will be collected from homes that are located outside the urban area or are difficult to reach by garbage truck on Tuesday, December 24. Place the gray wheelie bin outside before 8:00 am.
Collect GFT+E waste around Christmas
Residents who normally put out the green container for GFT+E waste on Thursdays must now do so earlier, on Saturday, December 21.
Good to know: the self-service depot on Argonstraat is closed on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 December.
