Stubborn stomach flu virus hits AZ in the run-up to the clash with Twente, no training at the training complex

Just before the last match of the season against direct competitor FC Twente, AZ is dealing with a persistent stomach flu virus. Trainer Maarten Martens therefore had his selection train in the stadium in Alkmaar on Friday morning instead of the training complex in Wijdewormer.
