The DFL announces the exact timing of matchdays 20 to 24 in the First and Second Bundesliga.
Summit duel at prime time in the Bundesliga: The reigning German champion Bayer Leverkusen welcomes the record champion Bayern Munich for the top game of the 22nd matchday on February 15th at 6:30 p.m. This was the result of the scheduling by the German Football League (DFL), which was announced on Thursday.
Overall, the DFL scheduled matchdays 20 to 24 in the First and Second Bundesliga at exactly the same time. The top game of the 20th matchday will be played on February 1st (Saturday) at 6:30 p.m. between Union Berlin and RB Leipzig. Bayern Munich and current third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt will meet on February 23rd (Sunday) at 5:30 p.m. as part of the 23rd matchday.
In the second Bundesliga, well-known duels were also scheduled at a specific time: On the occasion of the 20th matchday, Hamburger SV will play against Hannover 96 on February 2nd (Sunday) at 1:30 p.m. The following week, Schalke 04 will play on February 9th (Sunday) at 1:30 p.m p.m. at 1. FC Köln.
