The French clothing retailer Lacoste has awarded its kidswear license to the US textile group Haddad Brands.
As part of the agreement, which is initially scheduled to run for five years, Haddad Brands will develop, produce and market the traditional brand’s children’s fashion collections as well as matching accessories “in close collaboration with the Lacoste teams,” Lacoste announced on Thursday. The first collection for the fall 2025 season will be available in stores from mid-July next year.
Lacoste CEO Thierry Guibert praised the new partnership. “Haddad Brands’ undeniable experience and expertise in the children’s fashion licensing business are important factors for our continued development in this category,” he said in a statement. “This strategic alliance allows us to strengthen our presence in this segment.”
Haddad Brands is one of the world’s leading companies in the kidswear sector. The group holds licenses from well-known brands such as Nike, Jordan, Converse, Hurley, Levi’s, Polo, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, among others.
