Isa Hoes causes a lot of annoyance now that she has once again written a book about her grieving process after the death of Antonie Kamerling. Now we know, says Guido den Aantrekker.
Officially, Isa Hoes is an actress, but she has actually been better known for years as the eternal widow of Antonie Kamerling. This time she has published a book with son Merlijn Kamerling; last week they gave a big double interview in the AD. The headline: ‘Isa Hoes about her Antonie: ‘He didn’t want to die, he wanted to get rid of the miserable feeling’.
‘Now we know’
Story boss Guido den Aantrekker notices that he is really starting to dislike how Isa exploits her grieving process. “I think I know a little bit about it all by now”, tweets he.
America expert Raymond Mens says: “The first book was beautiful, but this is starting to look a bit like Hazes family.”
It is not the first time that Guido has criticized Isa, because a few months ago he retweeted a cynical comment from the well-known twitterer Mies. She wrote about Isa’s grieving process: “Another revenue model for 11 years already.”
wear out book
Journalist Ton F. van Dijk does not entirely agree with Guido. “The message that someone who commits suicide often does not want to die, but wants to free themselves from the enormous pressure of suffering is topical and can not be told often enough.”
Guido then says: “Of course. But maybe just someone else once, and/or not necessarily if there is a book to sell.”
Guido’s critical tweet has been liked by, among others, Meilandjes biographer Jan Dijkgraaf, columnist Yesim Candan and ‘daughter of’ Marieke Derksen.
