Kaleva reports that Twitch streamer and Big Brother star Anssi “AndyPyro” Huovinen has been convicted of gross tax fraud and accounting crime.

Big Brother – star and known as a Twitch streamer Anssi “AndyPyro” Huovinen34, has received a sentence for aggravated tax fraud and an accounting crime, reports Kaleva. The Oulu district court tells the newspaper that Huovinen gave false information to the taxman for the tax years 2018–2020.
On Twitch, viewers can make donations to the streamer, usually from 20 cents or more. According to Kaleva’s information, Huovinen left the donations in question unreported as income in his business name’s accounting. In addition, Huovinen is said to have failed to declare some of the other income he received.
According to Kaleva, Huovinen failed to declare income for a good 88,000 euros, in which case he avoided paying taxes for a total of more than 42,000 euros. Huovinen himself has denied that he was guilty of crimes or that he acted intentionally.
According to information received by Kaleva, Huovinen was sentenced to a seven-month suspended prison sentence. However, the court decided not to ban him from doing business. It is possible for Huovinen to appeal the verdict.
