The decision has been made: The new “Last Man Standing” from Ninja Warrior Germany has been determined – and is an old friend. sport.de looks back on the second final show.
In the second final broadcast, 17 ninjas once again dared to take on the toughest course in Germany. On the way to Mount Midoriyama, two more stages had to be mastered. First of all, like the previous week, it was against the clock. The task was to complete five obstacles in 2 minutes and 25 seconds.
On the third final stage there was no longer a time limit. Five more obstacles were waiting for the ninjas here. The showdown then took place as usual at Mount Midoriyama, with the elements of a ladder to heaven and a rope. Here you had to reach the buzzer in 35 seconds in order to be crowned “Ninja Warrior Germany”.

A total of eight ninjas took part in the second final stage. This was the end for Leonardo Calderon, Lukas Homann, Sladjan Djulabic, David Eilenstein, Tim Wolf, Nicola Wulf (“Last Woman Standing”), Joel Mattli and Marco Müller.
Daniel Gerber (2:24.25), Max Görner (2:23.21), Sandro Scheibler (2:22.76), Julian Rieger (2:20.98), Simon Brunner (2:20.84), Lukas Kilian (2:19.67), Philipp Göthert (2:19.34), Moritz Hans (2:10.25) and René Casselly (2:02.78) However, they made it further.

Six more athletes were hit on the third stage. For Lukas Kilian, Philipp Göthert, Max Görner, Julian Rieger, Simon Brunner and Daniel Gerber, the dream of Mount Midoriyama was over. It was therefore clear that Göthert would not be able to defend his title of “Last Man Standing”.
Moritz Hans (7:22.11), Sandro Scheibler (6:21.54) and René Casselly (6:11.36), however, left all obstacles behind them and made it to Mount Midoriyama.

At Mount Midoriyama, the three athletes only had 35 seconds to lower the 35 meters consisting of the sky ladder and rope below them and press the buzzer.
Sandro Scheibler started. The Swiss had a good rhythm, but got stuck on the 19th rung.
Then Moritz Hans ventured to Mount Midoriyama. Ultimately, time proved to be his downfall for the 28-year-old. Hans made it to the second section of the rope, then the 35 seconds were up.
René Casselly had the last word. The 28-year-old initially lost a bit of time on the rungs, but was quick afterwards. So quickly that there was a real crime thriller at Mount Midoriyama. Ultimately, Casselly was only around a second short of reaching the buzzer and being crowned “Ninja Warrior Germany” for the second time after 2021. And yet: Casselly is the new “Last Man Standing”.
The obstacles in the final of Ninja Warrior Germany
The second stage consisted of the tire change, the bar roller, the vortex boards, the corkscrew and the water walls 2.0. The time limit was 2 minutes and 25 seconds.
The third stage consisted of the domino path, the piston eater, the flying rodeo, the stamp and the plug-in boxes to drip stones to finger strips 3.0 to the flight path.
Mount Midoriyama included the elements of a ladder to heaven and a rope.
