Rock am Ring is many things: Germany’s largest rock festival, a state of emergency at the Nürburgring, a tent city with constant sound – and apparently also a place where very special services are offered. A post is currently making the rounds in a Facebook group about the festival that is causing plenty of conversation among Ring visitors.

It says: “Hello. I still have free appointments for this Rock am Ring!! Please come take a shower!!” Price information then apparently follows: “15 min 50€”, “30 min 80”, “1h: 120€”. If you are interested, you should write to the person via private message. There is also an extra service for interested punters: “I’ll be happy to come to your pitch if your tent is well looked after.”

Invitation to the love tent: Is this a joke?

Whether the post is real or a joke, an attempt at trolling or actually a serious offer? One thing is certain: the service makes for amusing comments: “Payment via PayPal? What about an invoice for the tax return and is there a discount for the remaining 12 minutes?” Also important to know: “How long are the opening hours? Don’t necessarily want to come during peak hours.”

It’s hardly surprising that in the midst of the state of emergency, sex for money is also being offered at Rock am Ring. Where tens of thousands of people camp, party, drink and lose their inhibitions somewhere between the toilet and the center stage for several days, the more curious side stories of the festival weekend also arise. After reports of fecal findings in the tent, anything seems possible. One thing is certain: taking a shower has never done any harm at Rock am Ring.

Why does Campino think that sometimes it’s good to just keep your mouth shut? Why does he sometimes feel like a drinks delivery man? He provides the answer in our cover story about the Toten Hosen’s big farewell, exclusively in issue 06/26. And that’s not all: the magazine includes the world exclusive 7-inch single “Always just loved” – on which Sven Regener from Element of Crime also contributed.
