Traffic coming from Drenthe via the A28 to Zwolle was severely jammed this morning. According to Rijkswaterstaat, an accident involving several vehicles occurred at the Zwolle-Centrum exit.
It is not known whether anyone involved was injured.
The right lane was closed near Zwolle due to the recovery of the vehicles. In addition, there was a sand and oil trail on the road surface, Rijkswaterstaat reported. As a result, there was a traffic jam of about 20 kilometers at its peak, with delays of more than twenty minutes.
The closed lane was reopened around 10 a.m.
