Dal Lago, a notary by profession, transforms into a visual artist, weaving with her hands not only the legal destiny of her clients, but also the invisible thread that connects art with the soul. Her story is a testament to how a passion for art can coexist with a completely different career, and how the birth of a child can be the catalyst to embrace a dormant vocation.
Florence is not defined by a single style; His art is a melting pot of techniques and disciplines ranging from woodcut to lithography, through drawing and textile art. His training is the result of years of study and practice under the tutelage of teachers such as Sergio Bazán, Matilde Marín and Natalia Giachetta, with whom he continues to perfect himself at the Buenos Aires Publishing Center.
In 2021, she won a prize at the Usina del Arte of the City of Buenos Aires for her ecological painting project, and this year she was selected at the National Textile Salon at the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange with her work “Sinfonía Azul” and at the I Entrecruce Textile Engraving Hall of the Argentine Center of Textile Art with his work “Naturaleza Tramada”.
His work is a constant dialogue with nature, exploring its organic forms and geometric patterns, in a dance between chaos and order, the organic and the structured. His workshop is his sanctuary, a space where time stops and freedom reigns. There, Florencia immerses herself in an organic creative process, allowing her works to evolve naturally, responding to the creative needs of the moment. She uses materials such as fabrics dyed with natural inks, embroidered threads on woodcuts and lithographs, inks and oils, always with a focus on imperfect beauty and natural architecture.
He has participated in several exhibitions and art fairs in Argentina and abroad, such as Arteba, Mapa, Museo Marítimo y del Presidio de Ushuaia, Club Alemán de Buenos Aires, The Box Gallery in Miami, USA; Dr. Madrazo Cultural Center in Santander, Spain; Atelier Controsegno in Naples, Italy; Watergate Gallery in Washington DC; and International Contemporary Art Fair in La Morra, Italy.
Looking to the future, Florence has ambitious plans. He will participate in two international group exhibitions in June: at the Artivistas Gallery in Paris, France, and at the Galerie der Stadt in Traun, Austria. Through her art, she seeks not only to connect with nature, but also to awaken in others an appreciation for its beauty and a commitment to its care.
Florencia Dal Lago is a shining example of how art can be an extension of our identity and how, through it, we can express our deepest connection with the world around us. His work is a constant reminder that we are part of nature and that we must maintain that sacred connection.
