The police have published descriptions in Bureau Brabant of the two boys who robbed a thirteen-year-old boy in Breda last Saturday. She hopes this can help in the investigation. This can also prevent them from robbing someone again, a police spokesperson said in the investigative program of Omroep Brabant TV.

The victim is the son of Gaby Moelands. His mother told Omroep Brabant on Saturday what happened to her child that evening around half past seven. The boy, whose name remains secret for his own safety, cycled along the Moerenpad that evening. He was on his way to a friend’s party, but that didn’t happen.

The kid was stopped by two older boys on a scooter. They asked him for directions. Suddenly one of them literally put a knife to the victim’s throat. A kitchen knife, according to the police in Bureau Brabant.

On a cycle path near Hupsakee childcare, the victim was ordered to hand over his winter coat and his telephone. Then the boys take off on the scooter in the direction of a doctor’s practice. Gaby’s son did not resist and was unharmed. According to her mother, he is doing wonderfully well.

His parents are happy that the police immediately started a neighborhood investigation and placed a call for witnesses. This Monday, Bureau Brabant also drew attention to this robbery and provided descriptions of the two perpetrators.

The driver of the scooter is white, seventeen or eighteen years old and 1.85 meters tall. He was wearing black pants and black shoes. Like his co-driver, he spoke Dutch and wore a black helmet with short, black protrusions.

The age of his co-driver is estimated at fourteen to fifteen years. He is 1.60 meters tall, dressed in black and had a high-pitched voice.
