Without additional climate measures, the Flemish government will not achieve its own climate target, which was already lower than the European Union expected of it. In 2030, Flanders will only emit 33.6 percent less greenhouse gases than in 2005. This is evident today from the evaluation that Minister of Climate, Energy and Housing Melissa Depraetere (Vooruit) ordered from her administration and which ‘De Tijd’ was able to view.
