From the suffering and destruction generated by ongoing wars, from Gaza to Ukraineat the difficult moment for theEurope has reached the vote divided and lost. From the destruction generated by extreme climatic events, such as in Valencia to the future American president Donald Trump pointing to his peoplegathered in the headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, symbolically handing him the victory.

But this was also the year of Paris Olympic Gameswho enchanted us with the physical tests of the athletes, between joys and disappointments, of greetings to Alain Delonportrait of the most fascinating actresses of his time, and of 70 years of RAI with its unforgettable programs from Back All to Dancing with the Stars.
For its twentieth edition, PHOTOANSA 2024 gives away also some iconic shots from previous years: by Aylan Kurdi, the child pushed by the waves onto a Turkish beach, symbol of the thousands of deaths in the Mediterranean, to the lightning that touches the dome of St. Peter’s, to the Costa Concordia ship sinking in front of Giglio.

PHOTOANSA 2024 was presented at Maxxi in Rome in the presence of Defense Minister Guido Crosetto and Nobel Prize winner for physics Giorgio Parisi. For the show Renzo Arbore and the historic Rai announcer and presenter Rosanna Vaudetti. For sport, the sailor Caterina Banti and the paralympic athletes Martina Caironi and Giacomo Perini.
December 11th at 5pm a new presentation event is planned in Milan, Palazzo Lombardia, which will be broadcast live on ANSA.it
