For its twentieth edition, PHOTOANSA 2024 gives away also some iconic shots from previous years: by Aylan Kurdi, the child pushed by the waves onto a Turkish beach, symbol of the thousands of deaths in the Mediterranean, to the lightning that touches the dome of St. Peter’s, to the Costa Concordia ship sinking in front of Giglio.

PHOTOANSA 2024 was presented at Maxxi in Rome in the presence of Defense Minister Guido Crosetto and Nobel Prize winner for physics Giorgio Parisi. For the show Renzo Arbore and the historic Rai announcer and presenter Rosanna Vaudetti. For sport, the sailor Caterina Banti and the paralympic athletes Martina Caironi and Giacomo Perini.

December 11th at 5pm a new presentation event is planned in Milan, Palazzo Lombardia, which will be broadcast live on ANSA.it
