Maerz Muenchen KG is celebrating its return at the men’s fashion fair Pitti Uomo.

The knitwear supplier is presenting its men’s collection in Florence for the first time since 2018, Maerz Muenchen announced on Monday. At the next edition in January, the Munich company will have its own stand at Salone Alfa.

“It is an outstanding opportunity and a great chance to present our fall/winter 2025 collection to an international audience,” said future Maerz managing director Louis Bezner. “The fact that we are represented at the most important international fashion trade fair for menswear underlines the growing relevance and increasing awareness of our brand. Participation in Pitti Uomo is an important step in further advancing our vision as an international premium knitwear brand and strengthening our international presence.”

At Pitti Uomo, Maerz wants to present the “highlights” from the premium knitwear collection and the brand itself to an international audience. The aim is to significantly increase the export share of sales in the next two years and to expand the presence in important markets such as Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, according to Munich. To this end, the company is also planning to open additional shop-in-shop areas with a new concept that it presented at the men’s fashion store Zur Blauen Hand in Trier in the middle of the year.
