Nemo Bandera is a powerful entrepreneur in the fishing sector, also known as a drug trafficker in the fictitious town of Levante, in Puglia. If in the first season we witnessed Bandera’s attempts to identify the ideal heir to his business among his childrenafter being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, with the second act we find the protagonist determined not to leave power and to protect the family from ever lurking external attacks.
The patriarch is a series that dusts off the ancient canons of Canale 5 fiction (the “glorious” one branded Taodue which clinched titles in the nineties and 2000s), but which does not regain the spirit of the past.
