Jamil Siebert has extended his contract with Fortuna Düsseldorf, which is valid until 2025. As usual, the second division team did not provide any information about the new term. The central defender and Düsseldorf native Siebert played 1,534 minutes this season, spread over 21 games. The German U21 international returned from Viktoria Köln in the summer after a year and a half loan.
Klaus Allofs, Director of Sports & Communications at Fortuna, said: “We are very happy that Jamil decided early on to continue our path together. When a player from his own youth develops like this, it creates a lot of identification. His early contract extension is therefore a strong sign for Fortuna. The future will belong to Jamil if he continues to work with such concentration.”
