Valthermond – Helpman
Rick Schlimback quickly gave the lead against Helpman on a pass from Milan Drayer Valthermond and shortly afterwards also had the 2-0 on his shoe, but the bet from distance hit the post. Helpman was also close, but just like Schlimback Danny Dijkstra hit the aluminum.
The same Dijkstra should have made the 1-1 after the break, but the attacker failed face to face with goalkeeper Noah Sahetapy. Just before time, the home team closed the game. One substitute (Jordy Weggemans) served the other substitute (Yordi van der Laan) who shot the liberating 2-0 against the ropes.
GVAV-Rapiditas – WKE’16
Joel de Jong gave the home team the lead on the stroke of half-time against WKE’16, which tied the score after the break. Jan Scholten, 25 minutes before time, was the goalscorer for the team of coach Albert Koops
ASVB – Rolder Boys
With goal number 7, 8 and 9 of the season, Perr Kirchhoff had a very large share in Rolder Boys’ victory over ASVB this afternoon. In Blijham, trainer Rick Slor’s men won 1-4. An early goal gave Kirchhoff Rolder Boys the lead, but through Erwin Aukes both teams went into halftime with 1-1. After tea it was again Kirchhoff who finished effectively, after which Sander Jansen made it 1-3. The final chord was again for the man of the match.
Nieuw Buinen down against neighbors, Annen wins at Gruno
The other two Drenthe trumps in this 2nd division L, Nieuw Buinen and Annen, played against Stadskanaal and Gruno respectively. Nieuw Buinen, still trailing behind, lost 0-1 against neighbor Stadskanaal. Leon Bos became the matchwhinner due to his goal just before half-time. Nieuw Buinen ended the game with ten men, after a red card for Rick Kunst. Nieuw Buinen is therefore stuck on 3 points from 11 matches. The gap to a promotion/relegation spot is four points.
Annen won with clear numbers at Gruno. It was, after a scoreless first half, 1-4. Wouter Tilman took care of the 0-1 after an hour of play, after which Vu Pham quickly made the 1-1. Because of three goals in the absolute final phase (one by Dante Ploeg and two by Jaap Jan Mulder), the points went to Drenthe. With the win, Annen is fifth with 17 points from 10 matches.
