King’s Day 2024 in Zoetermeer promises to be another festive day. The center of our city will be given an orange coat and the program is full of fun activities. On Saturday, April 27, Mayor Michel Bezuijen will open King’s Day with the aubade on the Market. But the Orange Festival starts a day earlier, namely during King’s Night in the city center.

Free market
Between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. everyone can sell their used and new items on the free market in the center of Zoetermeer. A long string of rugs runs from the Market behind the Stadshart, via the Marseillepad to the Dorpsstraat. Some people are there as early as 5 a.m. to get the best spot.

Free children’s activities
There are free children’s activities on Dobbe Island during King’s Day 2024 in Zoetermeer. From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., children will have fun with various children’s games, a bubble-blowing competition and a live puppet show.

Festival on the Pilatusdam
You can dance, sing and laugh during King’s Day on the Pilatusdam (behind the Dorpsstraat). Various DJs will be on stage from 12:00 to 22:00, such as the Locomotion crew, The Crazy Piano Show, students from the Erasmus College band, the singing party DJ and DJ Matthisima.
