First crashing through red traffic lights, then having an accident and finally being caught with drugs – this is how a 21-year-old’s Friday evening in Berlin looked like.
According to the current state of knowledge, the police first saw around 8:30 p.m. on Straße des 17. Juni how the young woman drove through a red traffic light in a car.
When they then wanted to check the woman, she just kept going. At the Kurfürstendamm/Leibnizstraße intersection, she drove into the intersection again on red in the oncoming lane – and collided with the car of a 32-year-old.
The 32-year-old suffered head and neck injuries and was taken to a hospital for inpatient treatment. The 21-year-old complained of headaches and neck pain, which initially did not require treatment.
In her car, officers found several smaller packages of white powder, sachets of cannabis and a three-digit sum of money. Everything was confiscated.

During a search of the woman’s home in Moabit, officials found drug packaging material. Also confiscated!
The woman, who was suspected of driving the car under the influence of drugs, was arrested and handed over to the criminal police. The investigations are ongoing.
