Journalists Francesco Paolo Del Re and Marco Monti they said they were following the woman’s trail, trying to follow the road that Antonella Di Massa she could have done it on the day of her disappearance, according to the testimonies and the images of the cameras that had filmed her. They had thus departed from Succhivo di Serrara Fontana car park where the missing 51-year-old was last seen, and then entered a stretch with dense vegetation. Suddenly, under an orange grove, less than 300 meters from their starting point, they came across a body. Imagining it could be Antonella herself, they notified the police and her family. The two journalists, as reported by the Corriere della Serathey said they had entered that private property where many had already passed: “The strange thing is that a lot of people had entered that piece of land but no one had noticed the woman’s body”.

Naturally, the doubts to be clarified are different, given that in the last few days the area had been beaten by the police, flown over with drones and helicopters, visited by volunteers, speleologists and residents of the area. It remains to be defined when Antonella Di Massa is actually dead and the cause of death. The owners of the land said they were in that area last Sunday and did not see anything particular. Was it just a distraction or was the body brought to that spot at a later time?

Antonella Di Massa she left her home in Casamicciola on the morning of February 17th. She had arrived in the hamlet of Succhivo in Serrara Fontana on board her Fiat Panda, where she had left the car and where she had been filmed for the last time by the cameras. Not seeing her return, her family tried to contact her but always found her cell phone turned off. At that point they called the police, thus starting the search on the southern side of the island.
