Telstar played an almost flawless match against Jong Ajax. The team of coach Uli Landvreugd won 0-3 against De Toekomst. The final piece was a phenomenal goal by Youssef El Kachati, who scored from forty meters.
He struggled to score his first goal in the Telstar shirt until the winter break. Youssef El Kachati had warned everyone: “If the first one falls, I’m out.” That turns out to be true, because in the last four games, the striker who came over from Quick Boys scored four times.
With Uli Landvreugd and Anthony Correia at the helm, Telstar took no fewer than seven points in three games. Although the duo apparently makes few changes, the team seems to have received a boost. “They look a lot freer,” says Landvreugd about his selection.
