The Viola striker: “The calls from Scaloni and Mancini arrived. I chose with my heart”
A call from Argentina and one from Italy, but Lucas Beltran ultimately chose the Albiceleste national team. The Fiorentina striker revealed in an interview with Eurosport that there was the Italian temptation: “Yes, it was a possibility – he declared -. Beltran was born in Cordoba on March 29, 2001 and has an Italian passport. After starting out at the Instituto de Córdoba, he moved to River Plate and last August to Fiorentina.
