The emergency rooms of general practitioners at Drenthe hospitals can be reached again after the telephone system was temporarily down earlier today. The emergency services could be called again around a quarter to two.
“We were dealing with a server problem, which meant that our emergency posts were not receiving any calls,” spokesperson Joyce van Dijk of Doctor Drenthe said earlier today.
It is not yet clear what consequences today’s telephone outage has had. The disruption occurred at the emergency rooms of the general practitioners at the hospitals in Emmen, Assen, Meppel and Hoogeveen.
