Koksijde is preparing a spatial implementation plan for the expansion of the Ter Hille golf courses. This would require the disappearance of 30 hectares of agricultural land, and that is precisely where the problem lies for Groen. “After all the intentions to support the agricultural sector, it is not logical at all to give an additional golf course priority to the current agricultural destination for such an area,” says co-chairman Jeremie Vaneeckhout.
