Dutchman Henk Slijkhuis (68) lives in Sumy, in the battle line of the war in Ukraine, with his Ukrainian wife Viktoriya. Until recently, they led a quiet life. Russia bombed several targets in and around their city. The air raid sirens sound daily in the streets of Sumy, shots are fired and fierce fighting takes place. The war has already claimed many lives on both sides in the region.
