Klopp to FC Bayern? Ex-BVB star has a stomach ache!

The future of Thomas Tuchel is being discussed around FC Bayern. Progressing in the Champions League against Lazio Rome is a must, otherwise the coach in Munich could be over again. At the same time, rumors are circulating about Jürgen Klopp, who will be available from the summer – but ex-Borussia player Karl-Heinz Riedle is skeptical.

“Of course, from Dortmund’s point of view, I would like him to never do that. I don’t know whether he would go to Munich at some point after his entire history at BVB,” explained Riedle in an interview with “t-online”.

Klopp recently announced that he would be leaving Liverpool FC after the season. Although according to consistent media reports he is planning a break afterwards, there is already a lot of speculation about his next coaching job.

“He has won enough titles and earned a lot of money. I don’t know what motivates him anymore. I think that the national team could still interest him in the medium term. Becoming world champion or European champion are the titles that you cannot achieve with a club team “If the constellation is right, I could well imagine it,” said Riedle.

A position could soon become available at FC Bayern if Thomas Tuchel does not achieve a turnaround soon. After the recent 3-0 defeat in Leverkusen, Julian Nagelsmann’s successor is under massive pressure.

Riedle made it clear that “things are not going well for the record champions this year”. Especially in the Bundesliga, the star ensemble is “no longer as dominant” as it used to be.

Does Kane have to save FC Bayern? Riedle waves away

FC Bayern’s hopes are all the greater that striker Harry Kane will pull the proverbial cart out of the mud.

“He is at least a player with a lot of experience in the so-called crunch time games. It is extremely important that you also have players who can decide games, but Bayern actually has enough of that anyway. Harry is certainly very important for Bayern, “But also not the sole entertainer who has to decide the duel with Lazio,” Riedle made clear.
