While the Porto striker is expected in Milan tomorrow, the midfielder has undergone tests before joining the Nerazzurri starting next season
Mehdi Taremi tomorrow, Piotr Zielinski… already this morning. These are days of medical visits at Inter: while the Iranian is expected in Milan on Tuesday, the Pole has already carried out the tests to become a new Nerazzurri player. All in great secrecy, away from the cameras and without the news coming out in the previous hours: Zielinski was in Milan for the Milan-Napoli match and on Monday morning he made a decisive pass for his future.
the contract
—
All according to the regulations, of course: it is in fact already possible to close the contract of a player expiring in the summer. Zielinski had been in Inter’s sights for some time, in recent days Aurelio De Laurentiis had effectively thrown in the towel. The Pole’s contract will be for four years or three plus the option for another season, therefore one year more than Taremi. The player should receive around 4.5 million euros plus bonuses per season. Piotr will further enrich an extraordinary department: in midfield Inzaghi is full of solutions, with Zielinski the quality will increase further, exit market permitting. Yet another blow to zero for Marotta’s Inter: central elements such as Calhanoglu and Mkhitaryan have arrived in the midfield in recent years, the club’s hope is that the Pole can do equally well in Milan.
