Sam Hagens had his nose worked on by the surgeon. The Today Inside star kept his girlfriend awake for years with terrible snoring and she was apparently fed up with it. “Ow.”
Political reporter Sam Hagens has a new nose and it bothered him for the first time last night Today Inside. “Can you see it? No, I don’t think you see it. No. You don’t see it at all. I’ve been looking in the mirror all day. You don’t see it. Will anything come of it? No, I had a very minor procedure in my nose.”
Snoring Sam
Why did Sam have his nose worked on? “So I can breathe a little better through my nose. Everything is discussed here, right?”
Colleague Johan Derksen: “You just have to snort a little coke, then you’ll be done with it.”
René van der Gijp: “What bothers you then?”
Sam: “Snoring.”
Cross-border
Yes, that is indeed a problem. Sam comes home late these days because of all his television work, but there is something transgressive about having to snore terribly loudly next to his girlfriend. Apparently she couldn’t take it anymore and sent Sam to the surgeon.
Wilfred: “Daily or every now and then?”
Sam: “According to my girlfriend, every day. It’s not too bad, but they have done something that will hopefully make it more open.”
‘Really cut?’
Did a surgeon really put his knife in Sam’s nose? “Really cut?” asks Wilfred.
Sam: “Yes, really. I don’t know exactly what they did.”
Will René also schedule a consultation now? “I also snore a lot, but it doesn’t bother me at all.”
