At the end of January in the afternoon, a German man marched to Spotify’s office in the center of Stockholm.
The man had a glass with water and feces in his hand.
Spotify’s surveillance cameras recorded how the man threw the contents of his glass at the receptionist.
The man was arrested. Later during questioning, he told the police that he was angry about the algorithms and playlists of the streaming giants.

– It’s not just Spotify, but the entire digital infrastructure. There is no competition. Apple and Google are in on this too, man said according to Expressen.
Spotify AB demands damages of around 20,000 euros from the man. The damages cover the reception desk, chairs, desk and laptop damaged by the excrement.
Feces had also flown on four people and they also demanded damages. In total, the compensation claims are around 33,000 euros.
The man has confessed his actions.
