NPO boss Remco van Leen also wrong? ‘NRC produces an explosive piece’

Insane if it is true: according to Yvonne Coldeweijer, NRC is working on a piece about the alleged misconduct of NPO’s new TV boss Remco van Leen, Frans Klein’s successor.

Frans Klein was suspended as TV director of the NPO due to his role in the DWDD scandal, but his brand new permanent successor Remco van Leen is anything but squeaky clean, according to Yvonne Coldeweijer. According to her, a major article is coming from NRC Handelsblad in which his alleged misconduct is explained.

Bottom stone

It is unprecedented, Yvonne writes on her juicechannel. “Yesterday the long-awaited Van Rijn report was published, which shows that transgressive behavior is widespread at the NPO. There is dissatisfaction in Medialand about the consequences of this report… Employees are concerned that anything will change.”

Rightly so, according to the juice queen. “It turns out… the bottom stone is still not up! There is another major issue about abuses within the NPO… SCOOP: there is yet another newspaper that is working on a major article about transgressive behavior; the NRC. This time it is (…) about the NPO summit itself.”

Dirty Remco?

What does Yvonne think is going on? “Remco van Leen would have been appointed as Video Director (as successor to Frans Klein, who left after the DWDD scandal), while several complaints of inappropriate behavior about this man had long been known to the board.”

She continues: “Despite dozens of women who have reported being groped, assaulted and sexually intimidated by Remco, the board knowingly appointed him. How is this possible?”

Unbelievable

The great NPO boss Frederieke Leeflang is really unbelievable in this way, according to Yvonne. “She is quite vocal in the media about how important she thinks it is that the workplace is safe. Embarrassing. Yet another farce from the NPO.”

A former head of marketing is one of the victims, the juice diva knows. “She contributed to the story. She also resigned from the committee that was supposed to ensure that the workplace became safer, because Leeflang was on it and she simply hired Remco van Leen as Video Director, even though she knew that he had also been involved with her.”

Final blow

This article will soon appear in the NRC, Yvonne knows. “Will this be the final straw? It’s time for something to change… but for real this time!”

Or, as Telegraaf journalist Wilson Boldewijn, responds to this information: “The real juice is only coming now.”

Tina Nijkamp had also applied for the position that Remco now holds. She is someone whose moral compass appears to be in order. Time for Tina?
